Signs of Approaching Tidal Wave

“When the first part of a tidal wave to reach land is a trough rather than a crest of the wave, the water along the shoreline may recede dramatically, exposing areas that are normally always submerged. This can serve as an advance warning of the approaching crest of the tsunami, although the warning arrives only a very short time before the crest, which typically arrives seconds to minutes later.”
Another early warnings comes from nearby animals. Many animals sense danger and flee to higher ground before the water arrive.
Lingayen Coastal Area: For Possible Tidal Wave

(UPDATE) Binmaley, Pangasinan, Philippines — After the earthquake happened last Tuesday, about 6 p.m, the people from coastal area of Binmaley started to evacuate from their houses to possible tidal wave in the area.
The affected area in Binmaley were Sabangan, Buenlag, San Isidro Norte, Baybay Lopez, and other nearby barangay and the coastal areas of Lingayen and Dagupan City.
Police were alerted to the reports from the residents that the waves or water height arises from about 2-3 meters below the sea level.
Residents were warned to observe the condition from the coastal area.

Earthquake shocked Pangasinan

(UPDATE) Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines — Residents from Pangasinan including North and Central Luzon were shocked with this earth-shaking experience happened about 12:26 p.m. which lasts few seconds.
The earthquake was measured with 4.2 on the Ritcher Scale. The epicenter was located 77 kilometers northwest of Lingayen, Pangasinan
U.S. Geological Survey said the quake had a preliminary magnitude of 5.8 with an epicenter 202 kilometers (126 miles) north-northwest of Manila and at a depth of 44 kilometers (27.3 miles).
According to Phivolcs, in its latest bulettin the quake was felt at intensity 3 in Manila and Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte and at intensity 2 in Quezon City.
There were no reported injuries or damages in this area. (Source: www.gmanews.tv)

Domain Name System (DNS)
